Description

In this episode of the Alive series, Fr. Jonathan Meyer reflects on the Gospel of Luke 18:1–8 — the parable of the persistent widow and the unjust judge.

The widow in Scripture is more than just a character — she is an image of the Church: faithful, relentless, and unwilling to give up. Like her, we are called to be people of persistent prayer, trusting in Christ, the merciful Judge who listens to us.

Fr. Meyer challenges us to ask:

  • What are you praying for today?

  • Will you persist tomorrow?

  • How can we live as the Church that never gives up?

Let’s keep asking, seeking, and knocking — confident that God loves us and has a plan for us.
